Cottage Grove Lake is popular for swimming, boating and waterskiing. It also offers some of the best fishing in the state for largemouth bass, hatchery rainbow trout and brown bullhead catfish. Facilities include day use parks, boat ramps, campgrounds, group picnic sites, and a playground at Wilson Creek. Near Cottage Grove, with boat ramps at Lakeside and Wilson Creek parks. (1,150 acres/465 ha) Seasonally watch for algae blooms which may be harmful to people and pets.
