About Tattnall Square Park

1155 College St, Macon, GA 31201, USA

Tattnall Square Park is one of the oldest urban parks in the country, and the second oldest in the state of Georgia. When Macon was founded in 1823, the layout of the new city included numerous parks and open green spaces that were used for recreation, farmers markets, and fire barriers, even near the new downtown business district. Located on a city block across from Mercer University, this is the premier Pickleball Facility in Macon. It also boasts offers picnic space, a children's playground, nearby dog park, tennis courts, an open field that can be used for multiple events and plenty of room to enjoy a nice day in Macon.
