Smithfields golf course features all the hallmarks of South Carolina golf. This a private community 18-hole golf course. Smithfields golf course opened in 1984.

The golf course hosts amateur, collegiate and junior golf events and is also the home course for the Easley High School Golf Team!

Easley is a principal city of the Greenville–Mauldin–Easley Metropolitan Statistical Area. The City of Easley covers 10.66 square miles of land, with a population of 19,993 at the 2010 census.
