A commitment to excellence and the development of each student-athlete’s sense of vocation through competition, strengthening mind, body, and spirit to become better citizens and leaders in the world.  

The intercollegiate athletic program provides a unique environment for learning not readily found in other segments of the educational program. Participation in the athletic program provides opportunities for students to develop sound mental and physical health, desirable social and recreational competencies, strong inter-personal relationships, self-confidence and a positive self-image. Special consideration is given to ensure academic success by attending to academic performance and progress towards a degree. These student-athlete outcomes are achieved by providing the necessary resources to enable each athletic team to be competitive in MIAC and NCAA Division III competition.
