Marshall’s Riverwalk has some lovely overlooks. The 1.6 mile raised boardwalk runs alongside a paved biking path following both Rice Creek and the Kalamazoo River. Keep an eye out for the South Marshall Dam waterfall and a Chinese pagoda. At Stuarts Landing there  is a fishing dock and boat launch onto the Kalamazoo River, as well as bathrooms. This walk is part of the North Country Trail.

Battle Creekis a leading destination for regional and national amateur sporting events including a variety of Michigan High School Athletic Association state finals, national wrestling and gymnastics events, and baseball and softball World Series tournaments.
