Tatum Park

Baseball Complex: Located within Tatum Park, Larry Doleac Youth Baseball Complex was built in 2008. It encompasses 5 fields with 10 batting cages. Fields #1-4 are 200 foot fields and Field #5 is an O Zone Field for measuring 225 feet. Amentities include covered bleacher seating, concession stand, permanent restrooms, playground, public address system, recessed dugouts with intercom system, and ample paved parking. Four on-site practice fields are also available for tournament use.

Soccer Fields: Located within the Tatum Park Sports Complex, the Tatum Park Soccer Fields offer one of the largest number of fields in one location in the entire Southeastern United States. The facility offers a total of 18 fields, 15 with lights and most of which can be converted into up to four game fields for younger players to total up to 60 games at once.

In 2023, two new competition fields were built. The championship-size fields feature one turf and one natural grass flat surface with pro-level goals. In 2024, Hattiesburg was named the newest city to host a USL2 pre-professional team, the HFC Thunder, who calls these fields home. The space also hosts numerous tournaments throughout the year, with the largest welcoming 197 teams from across the Gulf South.

Tennis Complex: The Tatum Park Tennis Complex is home to 10 hard courts with lighting, which can be retrofitted into pickleball courts. Recent improvements include a full lighting system upgrade and installation of new windscreens. The space is available for both recreational and tournament play.
