Stewart Beach

Enjoy the outdoors when you visit this family-friendly beach in Galveston. Stewart Beach offers a ton of amenities to ensure your day in the sun stays stress-free. Located where Broadway Avenue meets the Seawall, you will find highly trained lifeguards that make swimming safer, a shaded pavilion in case you need a break from the heat, concession stands, restrooms with showers, chair and umbrella rentals, volleyball courts, and a playground for the kids. While alcohol is not permitted, pets on leashes are permitted to explore the sand and water. Stewart Beach is open to the public from March through mid-October with admission.
