About Hollytree Country Club

This 18-hole championship course was built in 1983 and awarded “Best Golf Course” in the Best of East Texas Reader’s Choice Awards.

This course includes a perfect combination of water, trees and tiered greens to provide Members of all handicap levels a challenging and rewarding experience on every round. The course was designed by Robert von Hagge and Bruce Devlin, and built in 1983. The mature par-72 Tyler golf course boasts four sets of tees from 5,102 yards to 6,805 yards.

Practice facilities include a putting green, double-sided driving range with target greens, along with a large chipping green. The course was renovated in the fall of 2005, replanting all greens with Champion Bermuda grass, rebuilding tees on certain holes, and upgrading the irrigation system with state-of-the-art fertilization capabilities.
