It was back in 1959 that Roxy Ann Lanes first opened its doors to serve the people of the Rogue Valley. The owners were Herschel and Virgie Dixon and they decided to name the new business after Roxy Ann Peak.
Roxy Ann Peak sits 2000 feet above the floor of the Rogue Valley. From atop the peak there are stunning views of our community, all the way from Ashland to Central Point. Roxy Ann Peak was reportedly named for Roxy Ann Bowen, an early settler to the Rogue Valley in the 1850’s.
Roxy Ann Lanes and the Dixon family served the valley for 45 years until the Lanes were sold in July 2004 to long time Oregon residents Lela and John Larkin.
In 2012 the Larkins sold the land and building, but they still own and operate Roxy Ann Lanes and look forward to serving the Rogue Valley for many years to come.
