Tacoma Dragon Boat Association

We've been paddling dragon boats in Tacoma for 20 years and invite you to join us and give it a try! No experience necessary, we provide equipment and instruction. TDBA (Tacoma Dragon Boat Association) is a year round paddling club. Our members paddle for recreation or competition.

TDBA members range in age from 18 to over 80, and come from a wide range of professions. TDBA is the home of the Destiny Dragons, named for the moniker by which Tacoma, Washington has been known for over 80 years, the City of Destiny.

We moor at Johnny’s Dock Restaurant and Marina in the Thea Foss Waterway, a saltwater finger of Puget Sound. Our view from the water includes Mt. Rainier and the Cascade Mountain Range. To the northwest lay the Olympic Mountains.
