Birchtree Swim and Racquet Club

Birchtree Swim and Racquet club began as a private club in 1978 that offered competitive swimming and tennis as well as fantastic place to spend your summer afternoons. The club existed as a private organization until 1994 when the city of Hoover purchased it.

Birchtree is a non-profit privately run community pool. Birchtree is the only Hoover owned outdoor water facility. Our pool season runs from just before Memorial Day until Labor Day. Throughout the season we have numerous special events for our members and we offer low cost swim lessons.
