About Rillito Regional Park

Historically, Rillito Park started as a quarter horse racetrack with a grandstand, barns, and a training area. Horse racing still continues, but in recent years multi-use fields have been added to accommodate the growing sport of soccer. This park also offers picnic areas, ramadas, restrooms, and drinking water. Thoroughbred and Quarter Horse Racing begins in January and continues for five weekends through February, skipping Super Bowl weekend. Rillito Racetrack offers pari-mutuel betting on eight or nine live races each Saturday and Sunday.
