About Washington Park Velodrome

The Washington Park Velodrome opened in 1927 and is the oldest operating velodrome in the country. It’s the only track in the state. It’s a 333 meter track with 28 degree banked corners. The track has produced many National, Olympic and World Champions over the years. In 2015-2016 the velodrome had a much needed renovation, changing the surface to concrete and increasing the corner banking.

Spectators are always welcome to watch and admission is free on “the hill” for any night of racing. Refer to the listed website for exact racing dates, as well as special weekend races and events.
