Located just above Duluth’s historic 1892 Central High School, Central Hillside Park was established as part of the Duluth Model Cities Administration’s efforts in the early 1970s. It features playground equipment, basketball courts, grills and picnic tables, and a community center that was home to the Duluth Parks and Recreation Department for 16 years.
