The Armory Learning Arts Center is an art deco style 34,406 square foot, one-time National Guard Armory, renovated to house comprehensive art, music, dance, and gymnastic instruction. The facility features a state-of-the-art gymnasium, art gallery/gift shop, art, ceramic, and dance studios, as well as an auditorium and several multi-purpose rooms. Alabama Dance Theatre (ADT) calls the Armory home and offers ballet, pointe, tap, jazz, hip hop, modern, contemporary, and summer intensives. The Armory is also home to The Arts Council of Montgomery whose mission is to educate, encourage and nurture River Region residents by providing unique cultural arts experiences through a variety of arts programs and cultural experiences.
