About Katie Seashole Pressly Softball Stadium

Katie Seashole Pressly Stadium, located on the corner of Hull and Museum Roads, is the home of Florida softball. Ground broke for the original stadium on Feb. 1, 1996, just a year before holding the first-ever UF softball game on Feb. 8, 1997. Originally built at $2.6 million, improvements to enhance the experience of Florida’s fans and student-athletes have been made to the stadium over the years since the stadium first opened.

When entering the stadium, fans are treated with an unobstructed view of the playing field thanks to the new elevated Rosemary Oberndorf Press Box. Along with the new view comes more shade, as two new shade structures flank down the first and third baselines. Also, fans are now able to watch the Gators play from anywhere around the ballpark thanks to the new 360-degree concourse that wraps around the field.

Also included in the renovation is a standalone covered four-lane bullpen past the left-field wall, new concessions and bathroom areas down the third baseline, the field level Stacey Nelson Plaza in left field, and a berm area in right field.
