University of New Orleans - Privateer Tennis Center

Originally conceived in 2003 by a group of local investors heavily involved in local tennis, the University Tennis Center was opened in 2008 after an initial delay caused by Hurricane Katrina.

In 2010, the University acquired the facility outright, and continues to manage the property to this day. Currently there are 20 deco turf hard courts - nine of which have been recently renovated - as well as six red clay courts.

In addition to serving as home to the UNO men's and women's tennis teams, the facility serves as hosted Loyola University, a number of local high schools, USTA adult leagues, the Louisiana Regional and LHSAA Championships, the St. Jude High School Tennis Championships, the Susan G. Komen Tennis Championships and numerous junior and adult tennis camps over the years.
