Freshman Field

The Holy Cross softball team has played at Freshman Field since the program's inception in 1981. Located behind the football stadium, the softball field has in recent years seen the addition of new bleachers, a press box and a permanent outfield fence.

Prior to the start of the 2017 season, a new Daktronics BA-2014 outdoor LED scoreboard was installed in left field. The scoreboard is 20 feet wide by six-and-a-half feet high, and includes innings, runs, hits, errors, outs, balls and strikes.
