Central States Fairgrounds

Perched on the eastern slopes of South Dakota’s Black Hills, Rapid City encompasses both prairie and mountain, a convergence of landscapes that many residents and visitors find extraordinarily beautiful. The forty-five acre Central States Fairgrounds can accommodate sporting and meeting groups ranging from 25 to 6,000 or more.

This major events facility, just minutes from historic downtown and easily accessible from Highway 44 and Interstate 90, regularly accommodates sporting events ranging in size from small groups of 25 to major championships with thousands of spectators. As a favorite location for indoor motocross, equestrian events and trade show, Central States Fairgrounds is no stranger to major events.
