Parks & Rec
The Selah Skate Park is continuing to grow, as construction of a new half pipe “C” wall is underway. The skate park is located near the tennis courts on South Wenas Road and Carlon Park. The newly opened park was built by the Selah Skate Park Association and the City of Selah to provide more leisure activities for the community’s youth. In 2009 Selah Parks and Recreation introduced skateboard lessons for boys and girl ages 6-12. For a onetime fee these lessons provided an hour of instruction bi-weekly. The park is open for the public until dusk daily.
