Winding through the beautiful neighborhoods and parks of LaGrange, The Thread is a 12-foot wide path designed for walking, running and biking. The path is a non-motorized, multi-purpose trail originally built to increase the health and wellness in the community by providing a safe environment for fitness and recreation.

The Thread is an ongoing project with new sections being added every year, and an end goal of over 26 miles of safe, family-friendly paths. The segment pictured below is located just a few miles from downtown at Granger Park.
