Minnesota State University, Mankato's Blakeslee Stadium was constructed in 1963, and was named in honor of Carlyn P. Blakeslee, who served the institution for 37 years (1924-61).

Opened in 1962 - Home to Minnesota State University Football, MSU’s Blakeslee Stadium has also served as the summer training camp home to the NFL’s Minnesota Vikings since 1966. The 7,000-seat facility offers great sightlines and a natural grass surface.
