The Sports Information Office at Kansas Wesleyan University serves the athletic department with the promotion, publicity, and information service of the college's 23 athletic programs. Intercollegiate programs for men include baseball, basketball, bowling, cross country, football, golf, soccer, tennis, track (indoor and outdoor) competitive cheer and competitive dance and wrestling. Women's teams include basketball, bowling, cross country, competitive cheer, competitive dance, golf, soccer, softball, tennis, track (indoor & outdoor) and volleyball.
The office is responsible for encompassing promotion and publicity of the athletic programs and events to include news releases and the design and maintenance of the athletic website. Additionally, the sports information office serves as a host to local and visiting media for assigned home competitions, reports information to conference and national athletic affiliations, and produces and maintains accurate college athletic historical files. The SID office is located in Room 121S of the KWU Student Activities Center.
