Reed Arena

Reed Arena is a 12,989-seat special events center with 25,000 square feet of column-free space that is located on the west side of campus.

Reed Arena serves as the home for Texas A&M men's and women's basketball and volleyball teams. Complete with the amenities of a NBA arena and the atmosphere of a collegiate setting, Reed Arena provides A&M with one of the best basketball arenas in the southwest and provides first-class accommodations not only for Aggie basketball and volleyball but for major concerts, commencement ceremonies and a variety of other events.

The arena is named for Houston veterinarian Dr. Chester J. Reed, a 1947 graduate of A&M, and his wife, Billie Jean.
