The MTA Homegrounds hosts 4 major trap shoots per year with a facility that includes 44 trap fields, over 150 campsites, and over 300 acres of gorgeous Michigan landscape. The MTA also hosts A.I.M., S.C.T.P., & High School events including State and Regional Competitions. As the fourth largest trapshooting grounds in the nation, MTA is the perfect location for firearm events as well as archery.

The IQhub is an educational center for agricultural history, innovation, and exploration. This 9,500-square-foot facility was completed in June 2014 and was created to educate visitors on how farmers produce food and fiber while exploring our foods route from farm to fork. The IQhub is filled with educational and interactive exhibits, which will take guests through the history of agriculture. Children and adults will enjoy exploring the 24 interactive museum-quality exhibits, while the youngest visitors can investigate the Kids’ Korner. This is where even the smallest children can learn where their food comes from. A great option to explore during downtime between events.

Le Chat Gourmet Culinary Arts offers a wide selection of "hands-on" cooking classes for cooks of all levels of experience, from casual beginners to serious foodies. Class size is limited permitting each student to receive personal training from the chef while actively participating from food prep to the final plate presentation. The cooking school, located north of Eaton Rapids, Michigan just 15 minutes south of Lansing, offers a state-of-the-art classroom kitchen and gourmet cookware shop. Set on three acres with spectacular views over a variety of gardens, you're invited to join Chef Denene Vincent in the warmer months on a garden tour collecting fresh herbs, fruits and vegetables for creating seasonal cuisine. Carved from a mature tree nursery that was planted in the late 1940s, the championship layout of Timber Ridge Golf Club boasts spectacular views and inspiring design. Course architect Jerry Matthews of Matthews Natural Course Design worked with an abundant variety of trees, the hilly terrain, and the existing marshland. Matthews’ philosophy of design allowed nature and the contour of the land to suggest the placement of holes and flow of the course. He and his father, Michigan Golf Hall of Fame recipient W. Bruce Matthews, have won acclaim for advancing the art of environmentally sound golf course design in Michigan. Timber Ridge is the end result of their years of experience and combined expertise.
