About Cajun BMX

Cajun BMX is a 1,200-foot, all-dirt BMX bicycle track located in Picard Park. Cajun BMX is a non-profit organization ran by the parents and volunteers. The track board members are Desiree Wapnarski, Todd Young, Keene Cahanin, Brady Trahan, Ty Johnson, Robert Miller, Janine Stroder, Scott Sonnier, and John Griffin. We are open from January 14th through December the 15th (WEATHER PERMITTING) with Practices on Saturdays from 2:30 - 4:30 pm. Racing action will be every Sunday with registration from 3:00 until 3:45 pm with racing starting at 4:00 pm.

All 1st-time riders will be offered a one-day free trial. After that trial is over if they would like to continue to practice and race it is a 60.00 per year membership. Race fees are $10.00 per race and practice fees are $5.00 per practice.

Our purpose is to ensure that all participants feel welcome, included, and have fun while competing with other riders. All of this is to be done while providing a family-friendly environment where we strive to be positive role models within our community.
