Little Rock Southwest High School

Little Rock Southwest High (LRSW), a state-of-the-art high school campus covering 400,000 square feet of academic and athletic space, opened in the fall of 2020 to students from JA Fair and McClellan high schools. LRSW is the district’s first high school to be built in more than 50 years, and is the new flagship high school for the state’s capital city. With the combined populations from JA Fair and McClellan, the school serves over 2,000 students.

The newly constructed Southwest High School features a 4,000-seat football stadium, 2,500-seat arena and a 500-seat auxiliary gym. The campus also includes a practice field and track as well as four tennis courts and fields for soccer, baseball and softball. The school’s field house includes practice space for wrestling.
