Virginia Beach Ocean Front

Although the Virginia Beach Oceanfront is primarily known for its family attractions and live entertainment, this bustling location is also the go-to place for sporting events. Most recently, the Oceanfront hosted the 26th Annual North American Sand Soccer Championships. You’ll find athletes roller skating or jogging along the boardwalk in preparation for the Rock n Roll Half Marathon, while many others trek through the sand on fat tire bikes. The water is also busy, as surfers train for the East Coast Surfing Championship until sundown.
