The University of Wisconsin–Green Bay is a public university in Green Bay, Wisconsin, with regional campuses in Marinette, Manitowoc, and Sheboygan. Founded in 1965, it is part of the University of Wisconsin System. As of Fall 2016, student enrollment was approximately 7,030, including 6,758 undergraduate students.

The Green Bay Phoenix men's basketball team is an NCAA Division I college basketball team competing in the Horizon League for the University of Wisconsin–Green Bay. The head coach for the Green Bay Phoenix is Will Ryan.
