Lowe’s Creek County Park is a woodsy wonderland, nestled right inside the city limits. In winter the park’s 13 miles of singletrack are groomed for fat bikes and snowshoes, and over five miles of double track trail is groomed for both classic and skate cross-country skiing. The Glass Orchard

Formally Apple Tree Inn, AVEnue orchard was established in 2007 by Ron and Shelly Knutson and family. Located just south of Eau Claire on Highway 53 this family owned & operated orchard offers 26 apple varieties throughout the growing season as well as 2 varieties of pears. Open 7 days a week, during apple season, from 9am-6pm from August- November. We offer pre-picked apples, pick your own, and fresh apple cider. We also carry a full line of canned products. We can our products in small batches using quality ingredients. Check out our varieties of jams, jellies, butters, sauces, and pie filling. Come for an hour or spend the afternoon in our quiet, family friendly orchard. Enjoy our picnic area, yard games, and animals.

Chaos Indoor Water Park, located inside the Metropolis Resort, is not only a park that you and your little ones will enjoy, but it’s a park you can afford too! And if you want more than a day trip, admission to the waterpark is included in every reservation to Metropolis Resort, based on seasonal hours.
