Michigan State University Athletics

The Michigan State men's and women's soccer teams call the DeMartin Soccer Complex home, one of the finest soccer facilities in the Midwest. The new state-of-the-art facility features new grandstands, bringing the seating capacity to 2,500, enabling MSU to host conference and national tournaments. In addition, the site was reconfigured to provide for a competitive playing field, along with a new press box and practice field. This facility is great for tournaments and special events.

DeMartin Soccer Complex

The 15,000-seat Breslin Student Events Center is located on the picturesque campus of Michigan State University. Home of the MSU men's and women's Spartan basketball teams, the Center is available to host concerts, family shows, athletic events, conferences, trade shows, conventions, and more! State-of-the-art sound and lighting systems are available. Five private meeting rooms are available for more intimate events. Over 3,500 parking spaces are located within two blocks, with easy access to Lansing's Capital City Airport and major highways. The arena is handicapped accessible, with easy access and special platform seating. This facility is great for tournaments and special events.

Breslin Student Events Center

Located inside the Breslin Student Events Center, the Izzo Hall of History celebrates the heritage of Michigan State University’s unique basketball program. Find videos, photos, trophies, player info and more. Great photo opps for State fans. Open for ticket holders on game days. Check Facebook page for details.

Tom Izzo Hall of History via Gilbert Pavilion

Located in the heart of Michigan State University's campus, this field has a multi-sport used for Lacrosse, Soccer, and Field Hockey. One turf field that is fully lighted. Press box and scoreboard available Capability for full concessions This facility is great for tournaments and special events.

Ralph Young Field- MSU

Located on Michigan State University campus, this facility provides a field for intramural sporting events. In 2014, a turf field named the Forest Akers Trust Practice Complex was added to these intramural fields as a home to the MSU Marching Band to use as their practice field. This facility is great for tournaments and special events and can accommodate soccer and lacrosse.

Munn Field- MSU

The Mid-Michigan Spartans are the regional club for alumni and friends of Michigan State University living in Ingham, Eaton, and Clinton counties. The club’s mission is to build awareness and support of university programs and to enhance the involvement of alumni and friends through activities and community outreach. After many years of active existence within the community, the club rebranded and reincorporated itself in 2021. It is recognized as a 501(c)(3) tax-exempt entity by the Internal Revenue Service. As a non-profit organization, contributions to the Mid-Michigan Spartans may be tax-deductible to the maximum extent permitted by law.  
  
The Mid-Michigan Spartans sponsor various charitable, community, and member events and programs throughout the year, both on campus and off. Some of these have included:  
  
- Service projects including Spartan Move-In, Notecards, Finals Week, and more to serve the students.  
- Textbook Scholarships for incoming MSU first-year students.  
- Quality in Undergraduate Teaching Awards.  
- MSU sporting activities, including game watches and behind-the-scenes tours of athletic facilities.  
- Opportunities to participate in MSU activities, including the Homecoming parade and tours of MSU cultural & educational facilities.

Mid-Michigan Spartans

Beal Botanical Gardens, founded in 1873, is the oldest continuously operated garden of this type in the United States. It includes over 5,000 species organized in economic, systematic, landscape and ecological groupings. The Beal Botanical Garden and Campus Arboretum’s mission is to illuminate the interconnectedness of people, plants, and place through learning, research, and stewardship. A great option to explore during down time between sports events.

Beal Botanical Garden

Beaumont Tower marks the site of Old College Hall-the first building in America erected for instruction in scientific agriculture. A gift from John W. Beaumont (class of 1882), the tower was dedicated in 1929 and renovated in 1996, making possible weekly carillon concerts throughout the year. Beneath the clock is a crisp Art Deco relief, "The Sower," by sculptor Lee Lawrie.

The carillon is played every Wednesday at noon for 30 minutes during the school year, with additional noon recitals subject to volunteer carillonist availability. Generally on the first Wednesday of October, November, December, February, March, and April, the tower is open to the public during the noon recital and guests can climb the 73 stairs to the playing cabin, which is behind the clocks, to observe the 6th University carillonneur, Jonathan Lehrer, play the 49-bell carillon. Several current and former carillon students assist in playing and schedule special tours.

Each July, the Muelder Carillon Series brings guest carillonneurs from around the world for a recital on Wednesdays at 6 p.m. You are invited to bring a picnic and sit outside and enjoy the beautiful music of the carillon.

MSU Conference and Event Planning

Munn Arena, which was dedicated Nov. 1, 1974, recently received its most extensive expansion to date, as the addition which was completed in the fall of 2022 provides not only a new team dressing room, but also a video theatre, a state-of-the-art weight room, an athletic training room with its own cutting edge treatment availability, a player lounge, and brand new (and expanded) office space for the hockey staff. In addition, the facility finally has a “front door” - a main entrance with the Ron Mason Hall of Hockey, a showplace for the program’s rich history. With continual improvements since the 2013, the facility also boasts high-definition video boards, LED ribbon boards, increased chairback seating, a recent replacement of all bleacher seating, increased ADA compliant seating sections. In 2013, Munn became one of the first college hockey arenas to install an LED lighting system, and the building’s ice plant and HVAC systems were completely replaced, along with adding new boards and glass at the cost of more than $6 million in 2015. The building has boasted luxury boxes and club seating since the 1999-2000 season. With nearly 3,000 chairback seats and several ADA platforms installed in 2015, the official seating capacity of Munn Arena is 6,114. This facility is great for tournaments and special events.

Join the **Midwest Fall Brawl Lacrosse Tournament**, the premier lacrosse showcase for boys and girls teams in the Midwest. Hosted at the state-of-the-art Hope Sports Complex in Lansing, Michigan, this **October 10–11, 2026** event features high-energy competition across divisions from U10 to Varsity.&#x20;

Boys divisions play three guaranteed games on October 11, while girls divisions compete in 8v8 small-sided matches concluding by 2:00 PM on October 10, perfect for homecoming festivities.&#x20;

Midwest Fall Brawl Lacrosse Tournament

The **2nd Annual Comet Classic** is a collegiate bowling tournament hosted by The University of Olivet.  This one day event taking place at Royal Scot Golf & Bowl will feature approximately 30 teams.
