RIM Park

About RIM Park

RIM Park is the City of Waterloo’s premier recreation and park complex. This 500-acre facility is home to the Manulife Financial Sportsplex and Healthy Living Centre as well as many events which draw large crowds to the world-class venue.

More than a million people visit RIM Park each year to take in events and to make use of the facilities’ many amenities. The Manulife Financial Sportsplex and Healthy Living Centre is a multi-purpose recreation building, home to a wide variety of indoor activities, including sports, theatre groups, art classes, corporate meetings and special events. It has four Olympic-sized ice pads, a skate shop, an indoor playing field, gymnasium, and several meeting rooms. The Waterloo Sports Medicine Clinic is also on site. Outdoor sports facilities include 12 multi-purpose sports fields, six ball diamonds and four sand beach volleyball courts.

The Grey Silo Golf Course, also located a RIM Park, offers golfers 18 holes of championship golf along the Grand River.
