The Austin Sports Center Sand Complex is the outdoor facility of the ASC family. It has a 17,900 sq. ft (179ft x100ft) sandpit with enough room for 4 competition volleyball courts. Also can be used for sand soccer or whatever other creative use someone might have. There is 2400 square foot building with an 1800 sq. ft covered patio overlooking the courts with chairs, countertops and free internet access. The building also features a full-service concession stand, air-conditioned bathrooms, lights for nighttime usage (until 10 pm), and 1200 sq. ft of shade structures with misting for hot Texas heat. There are 90 parking spaces on-site with a max occupancy of 358.
