The Cat and Thomas Forest Preserve offers both easy (Thomas) and moderate (Cat) hikes to peaks with outstanding views of Lake George's south and central basins, as well as Trout Lake and the southwestern Adirondacks.

A connector trail links from Cat Mountain to Edgecomb Pond and then from Edgecomb Pond to The The Pinnacle, providing additional hiking opportunities.
