Pine River Nature Center

Experience the woods and wetlands of St. Clair County! Just a short drive from Port Huron, the Pine River Nature Center has over three miles of marked hiking trails through beautiful terrain. A one-mile section of the Pine River flows through the property providing tranquil views and many opportunities to view wildlife. Wildflowers and grasses abound in our three-acre restored tallgrass prairie. Trails are open daily dawn through dusk. Trail Maps are available outdoors at our kiosk. The log cabin nature center is generally open Monday through Thursday 8:30 am to 4:30 pm and Friday 8:30 am to 3:00 pm. Make sure your visit includes the first publicly owned universally accessible treehouse.
