Big jumps can mean big air. Steep backsides, deep turns, and downhill sections can add up to massive speeds.

Located on the west side of Salt Lake City, Glenmoor has a wonderful course layout and is always in good shape. Tree lined fairways make accurate tee shots a must. The mid sized undulating greens will challenge you to keep your approach shots below the hole. If you can score well on the first four, very difficult, golf holes you are on your way to a good round. Privately owned, open to the public.

The Jordan River Parkway is a massive network of paved trails in the greater Salt Lake City area that is perfect for road biking and walking along the Jordan River. There are dozens of trailheads that run north to south along the route that offer parks, covered picnic tables, bathrooms, pavilions and even fishing ponds. Water fowl can be seen frequently along the river, and several places have pullouts and benches that allow you to go down by the water to feed the ducks. The Nature Center in Murray, the Conservation Garden Park, and the Redwood Nature Area are some of the facilities along the trail that allow for more interactive experiences for children and adults alike. There is a lot more going on along the parkway than simply a place to walk and ride. It is a large project that spans many counties and is based around conservation and education. It is one of the many reasons Salt Lake City is considered a great outdoor city.

Visitor information The Visitor Experience is a self-guided tour with many exhibits for you to see and read about the Bingham Canyon Mine, its history, and operations. We also offer a virtual tour of our operation to continue learning about the Bingham Canyon Mine: [https://www.youvisit.com/tour/riotinto](https://www.youvisit.com/tour/riotinto") Shuttles can accommodate up to 30 guests. Shuttle service to the mine overlook runs 7-days a week starting each day at 9:30 am and runs every 30 minutes with the last shuttle departing at 2:30pm (and returning by 4:00pm). The entire experience takes about an hour but can run longer depending on how long you visit the Bingham Canyon Mine overlook. You are welcome to take pictures of your visit, however professional photography is not allowed. Be prepared for the weather as the Visitor Experience is completely outdoors. The weather at the mine is sometimes different than that of the rest of the Salt Lake Valley. On sunny days, it will be hot. Bring water, sunscreen, and sun protection. If it looks like it may rain, please consider a jacket or umbrella. In the cooler months, be prepared for wind and cold temperatures.
