Scappoose Bay Paddling Center is a short 25-mile drive North of Portland on scenic Hwy 30. Experience beautiful, calm, flatwater paddling secluded from boat traffic. Paddle through luscious forests while witnessing thriving wildlife in a family friendly setting that caters to all types of boaters, especially beginners. Whether you're looking for SUP, canoe, or kayak rentals, going on one of our paddling tours, or taking a kayak or SUP class, Scappoose Bay has something for everyone.

We offer a variety of classes for kayaking, kayak fishing, stand up paddle boarding (SUP), and SUP Yoga for all ability levels. Private kayak and SUP lessons are available with our ACA certified instructors.
