Boasting 6,144 yards, 18 holes, with a par of 71, this course was designed by Harold Parrica. It is located just outside of Dalton and near the historic home site of Chief Joseph Vann. The Cherokee Heritage is rich in this area, making it a unique afternoon on the green. Indian Trace includes a driving range, practice green, pro shop, snack bar, and pavilion rental.

The Cherokee called this area The Enchanted Lands for the beauty and serenity of the Appalachian Mountain foothills. Later the ingenuity and entrepreneurship of a 15-year-old girl, Catherine Evans-Whitener, would revolutionize textile production, expanding Dalton to a worldwide industry leader.
