Stocker Stadium

Ralph Stocker Stadium is home to Colorado Mesa University Maverick Football, as well as a number of local high school football teams. It also hosts an annual marching band festival and a number of large, outdoor ceremonies throughout the year.

The lighted field is equipped for night games during Grand Junction’s warmer months. The field itself is covered in the latest brand of field turf and incorporates a state-of-the-art draining system that requires reduced maintenance. Suplizio Field’s video board can be moved to Stocker Stadium.

The stadium’s field is surrounded by an eight-lane, quarter-mile track, making it the perfect venue for track and field events as well.

A 2012 renovation project that updated the bleachers and added additional seating, TV-ready lights, a concourse and concession stands, as well as a new, two-story press box. Stocker has a seating capacity of 4,500.
