FUJI BJJ presents the Quad Cities Fall Open. We are dedicated to bringing you the best tournament experience possible. Our tournament series offer divisions for any age, weight, skill level, as well as GI and NOGI divisions.

**Format:** Depending on the bracket size we offer best of three, round robin, and modified double elimination brackets to ensure everyone gets more than one match.

**Age Standards:** Age 4 and Up

**All States Welcome!**

## IMPORTANT DATES

Early Bird registration deadline: 22 Aug (11:59 pm)

Normal registration deadline: 19 Sep (11:59 pm)

Late registration deadline: 29 Sep (11:59 pm)

Check Day (last day to change weight without fee) is the Wednesday before the event.

Merging of uncontested divisions will happen the Wednesday before the event.

The schedule will be published the Thursday before the event.

Doors Open/Weigh-ins begin: Day of event (8:00 am)

Matches Begin: Day of event (9:00 am)

## SPECTATOR FEE:

All spectators over the age of 12 years old must have a spectator pass.  Passes may be purchased at the door upon entry of the venue.

* Spectator fee: $20.

**Each academy will receive at least 1 free coaches pass. The amount of free passes depends on how many students from that academy are registered for the event. At least 1 free pass per 5 students will be available. Coaches do not need to message in before the event.**

FUJI BJJ Quad Cities Fall Open

The FUJI Jiu-Jitsu Championships is a nation-wide tournament series. FUJI BJJ was founded by Royler Gracie Black Belt and Pan American Champion, JW Wright. JW has been hosting jiu-jitsu events for over 15 years throughout the Midwest. 

FUJI BJJ currently has ten regions throughout the United States and we are partnered with some of the best competitors and academies around!

Located off I-80 in Bettendorf, Iowa, the TBK Bank Sports Complex is a state-of-the-art, multi-use facility that serves a range of sports events. The 280,000-square-foot indoor complex and its accompanying outdoor sports venue can accommodate all kinds of tournaments. The indoor facility features a turf soccer/football/lacrosse field, eight regulation basketball and volleyball courts, batting cages, a golf range and food vendors. Outside, athletes will find four lighted soccer fields, six lighted turf baseball/softball fields, and seven sand volleyball courts. The family entertainment center has 32 bowling lanes and a two-story laser tag game.

The Quad Cities — Davenport and Bettendorf in Iowa, Rock Island and Moline in Illinois, straddling the Mississippi River — offer visitors a genuine slice of Midwestern river culture without the big-city price tag. The river itself is the region's defining feature, threading through downtowns on both banks and setting up scenic walking and biking paths, riverboat casinos, and waterfront parks that make for an easy afternoon between commitments.

Bettendorf, home to the TBK Bank Sports Complex, sits right along the Mississippi and offers quick access to the rest of the Quad Cities via a short drive across the river. The Isle Casino Hotel and the TBK Bank Sports Complex area keep most visitor needs — hotels, restaurants, and quick-service spots — within a few minutes of the venue, while downtown Davenport and the Village of East Davenport add a walkable historic district with local shops and restaurants.

Across the river, Rock Island and Moline round out the visitor experience with the Figge Art Museum, the John Deere Pavilion (a nod to the region's agricultural-equipment heritage), and the Rock Island Arsenal, one of the largest government-owned weapons manufacturing arsenals in the country, set on its own island in the Mississippi. The Quad Cities' minor-league ballpark, Modern Woodmen Park, sits along the riverfront in Davenport and is a classic stop for families looking for an evening out.

For visiting tournament families, the region is compact and easy to navigate by car, with most attractions, restaurants, and hotels clustered within a 15–20 minute drive of Bettendorf regardless of which side of the river you're on. It's an unpretentious, family-friendly destination — good food, river views, and enough kid-friendly attractions to fill the hours around competition without needing to venture far.
