About Horse Fork Creek Park

Horse Fork Creek Park is located at 3005 Fairview Drive on the east side of Owensboro.

The park features the largest soccer complex in western Kentucky with nine fields. Nearly 1,000 youth participate in the recreational soccer program under the volunteer leadership of the Daviess County Youth Soccer Association, both in a spring and fall season.

Horse Fork Creek Park is home to a U.S. Army Corps of Engineers certified wetland with an elevated walking trail as well as a six-acre retention basin. The park is adjacent to the Greenbelt, a 15-mile multi-use trail linking neighborhoods, parks, schools, and businesses throughout Owensboro.

Daviess County Fiscal Court added a spray park, inclusive playground, and new restroom facilities from 2019-2021. For more information, contact the parks office at 270-685-6142.
