Nordic Valley

In the year 1968, a small ski area in the heart of Utah’s powder country was born. Nordic Valley is nestled deep in the heart of the Wasatch Mountains, however, it is just a few short miles from the restaurants, entertainment and comforts of the booming town of Ogden. Named by Forbes magazine as the third best city in the country to raise a family, Ogden and the Ogden Valley is one of the most accessible, family centered, and budget friendly ski areas in the country.

Nordic Valley is famous for its ski school, intermediate and advanced slopes, and family friendly atmosphere. Nordic Valley was immortalized as one of the best downhill training ski areas for the 2002 Winter Olympics, which the Austrians discovered was worth pure Gold.

Today Nordic Valley is a 450 acre ski resort, with terrain for all skiers and boarders. It includes 2 double lifts, 1 6-person high-speed lift, 1 triple lift, 1 surface lift, 32 runs, and the best night skiing in Utah.

Nordic Valley recently expanded their terrain during the 2020/2021 season adding 300 acres, 12 new trails, and installing their first 6-person, high-speed chairlift.
