The Alliant Energy PowerHouse opened as the Five Seasons Center on January 25, 1979. Past headliners include KISS, Motley Crue, Diana Ross, Trace Adkins, Styx, Nickelback, Tom Petty, Def Leppard, Cher, Green Day & Taylor Swift.

The Alliant Energy PowerHouse is a multipurpose facility which hosts many different events throughout the year such as family shows, ice shows, a rodeo, high school sporting events and concerts. Since it's opening, the PowerHouse has hosted such concerts as Kiss, George Thorogood, Alan Jackson, Def Leppard, George Strait, Cher, Nickelback, Papa Roach, Shinedown, Rod Stewart, Dolly Parton, and many others.
