Located in south St. Vital, the Dakota Community Centre can host a variety of sports and other events. Their 60,000 sq. ft. Fieldhouse, constructed in 2017 and which includes a 30,000 sq. ft. hardwood court space with 9-metre ceiling clearance, is available for rental for sports such as basketball (3-court capacity), volleyball (6-court capacity), pickleball or badminton (12-court capacity), yoga, and a 200-metre, 3-lane race track.

The Dakota Community Centre also inaugurated in December 2018, the Jumpstart Community Rink, which is a full sized (85' by 200') facility, multi-use and multi-season ice rink, and has a special sand base for four regulation beach volleyball courts. It is Manitoba's first fully accessible rink to accommodate sledges.
