The Council Bluffs Recreation Complex offers 77 acres of athletic fields and amenities. The Rec Complex is located at 2900 Richard Downing Avenue, south of Exit 1-B (S. 24th St.) off the I-80/ I-29 interchange. The Rec Complex hosts regional and national tournaments and provides fields for our adult and youth teams. Anyone interested in hosting a tournament should submit the rental agreement.

Council Bluffs is a great place to host a sporting event. We’ve hosted events from national championships to world team tournaments to local club competitions. 

Our brand new, 100,000 square-foot Iowa West Field House opened in early 2017. This multi-sports facility is sufficient for 12 regulation volleyball courts or eight high school basketball courts and can host futbal, pickleball, wrestling, gymnastics, martial arts and more.
