Snyder & Associates was selected by the City of Altoona in 2008 to prepare construction documents for a proposed 80-acre outdoor community soccer complex. The project included the development of phased construction documents based upon master planning. The proposed facility is designed as a high-use soccer complex with the amenities necessary to serve the needs of tournament and league play. Amenities include 14 full-size natural turf soccer fields with irrigation and a centrally located full-size synthetic turf multi-purpose field. Also centrally located on the site are the concession and restroom buildings, an awards plaza, playground, and open lawn gathering space.

The main parking facility for the complex is located southeast of the concession stand and restroom plaza. Provisions have been made for the addition of another parking lot to the north as use of the facility increases and more parking becomes necessary. The project team provided construction administration and observation in coordination with the City of Altoona.
