The multi-use park is home to the Westside Soccer Club offering 6 lighted soccer fields and is a longtime popular destination for soccer fans.  The nature area contains an 826-foot boardwalk along the Ortega River and a pier that may be used for launching kayaks and canoes. The park is now 576 acres with additional land acquisitions and has a floating dock launch (long walk from parking). There is also picnic shelters and tables, walking tables and playground equipment.
