Along the shore of the Patuxent River, Kings Landing Park has a history stretching back to Captain John Smith’s exploration and earlier. Once an active farm and later a YMCA camp, it is now managed by Calvert County’s Natural Resources Division. Kayakers, canoeists, and fishermen enjoy Kings Landing’s access to the river, nearby creeks, and marshes.
Experience the Patuxent River. Enjoy the scenic views of the river and wetlands, fish from the pier or launchyour kayak, canoe or stand-up paddleboard and explore the marshes of the Patuxent River.
