Located in Morgan Park, Blackmer Park was built by United States Steel when the neighborhood was still a company town. The park was gifted to the city of Duluth in 1933 and today features a playground, softball field, picnic tables, and grills. A walking trail runs along the edge of the park parallel to the St. Louis River.
