Folsom Lake has a 75-mile of beach shoreline access for swimming events with access to the 32- mile, paved American River bike trail that winds along the river, perfect for cycling or running events.

Amenities also include miles of unpaved trails for trail running and mountain biking, a horse staging area, access to 152 miles of Western States trails, and 11,450 surface acres of water for fishing and watercraft events.
